Browser storage on WebMins

WebMins uses browser storage and configured cookies to support account access, preferences and certain checkout or identity workflows. This policy covers cookies and similar technologies, including local storage and service-worker caches; these technologies have different lifetimes and clearing methods.

Verified application uses

Current browser login uses server-side sessions referenced by HttpOnly cookies; browser sessionStorage contains account display metadata, not raw access or refresh tokens. The application stores interface preferences such as theme and sidebar state. A browser-bound HttpOnly SameSite=Lax cookie supports ChatGPT linking, and a currency cookie may inform checkout currency selection. Installation and notification preferences can be stored for PWA features.

Approved inventory and optional processing

The current inventory, lifetimes, analytics providers if enabled, purposes and optional controls are Essential storage includes scoped WebMins browser-session cookies (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax; Secure in production), account display metadata in sessionStorage, checkout/currency state where used, and the temporary ChatGPT linking cookie. Session cookies expire with their server-side sessions; sign-out revokes the relevant session. Interface/PWA preferences and service-worker caches persist until cleared or updated. webmins_cookie_preferences localStorage and signed-in cookie_preferences records hold essential/analytics/marketing choices, version and timestamp for a maximum validity of 180 days. Optional first-party kit-view and AI-click counters require Analytics consent; webmins_referral attribution requires Marketing consent and uses the configured campaign lifetime. Optional categories start disabled and can be rejected or withdrawn through Cookie Settings in the footer/account screen. No global GA/GTM, Meta, Clarity or Hotjar loader was found in the reviewed application. Google sign-in and payment scripts serve requested authentication/payment functions; external providers publish their own storage notices. Clearing browser storage does not erase server records.. This is the approved deployment-specific disclosure. Essential account or transaction functionality must be distinguished from optional analytics or advertising. No claim is made that optional trackers exist or are disabled until the deployment inventory confirms it.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser and sign out through WebMins. Clearing storage may remove saved preferences or sign-in information; it does not delete server-side projects, accounts or orders. Where optional tracking is deployed, follow the specific controls listed above. Payment and AI provider sites may apply their own storage policies.

The published business address and support channel apply to both regions; no separate US office is represented.
